I recently got a lot of Captain Power figures and a Mortal Kombat Goro figure from evilbay. I was wondering, is it possible to convert Goro's T waist to something similar to Joes or Powerteam elite using the smae legs? also the same deal with the Captain Power figures, the arms only go up and down, but not to the sides, is it possible to convert the shoulder joints as well? |

Surgery, superglue, painting. Ta-DAH! IIRC, the Power figs torsos open similar to RAH Joes, with similar 'grabs' to the shoulders so RAH shoulders will fit in there. You may need to build up the interior of the 'grabs' due to differing shoulder pin lengths, tho. Also IIRC, Goro's hips should be the same way, but I'd think it'd be unsatisfactory and you'll end up better by simply grafting a proper Joe pelvis onto him. |

Goro shouldn't be TOO hard to give an O-ring to...especially if you find the right Donor. I would reccommend a Visionaries figure. I don't have a Goro in front of me, but I'm pretty sure his construction is very similar to that of E Honda. Attachment: fat-1.jpg I've still got a lot of work left on my E Honda mod...but what I did was cut off a Visionary figure chest right below the Armpits...but kept the screw construction and such...and right above the knee also keeping the screw construction. Attachment: fat-2.jpg Some Dremeling, Some Sculpting...the project is getting there...but was intended for the Joecustoms VS Zombies GP...obviously I'm slow...I'm currently reworking the thighs so they're not as tall....also I'm basicly Scratch building the Crotch peice so it's the proper height and width. I'm sure Goro wouldn't be near as much work because you could prolly find a simple Visionaries crotch and use that as a replacement without many...if any mods. |
