As an archer myself, I know that better penetration of your target needs a larger marksman weapon with stronger limbs. Since my current dio characters' needs are going up against abberations as well as the infected/undead, they're going to need some silent weapons with a bit more punch. After going through what I had, I decided to make one from some broken or odd accessories:

Here, I used the broken stock and half of the Zarana V1 cutter/rifle, and the bow limbs that came with a Scarlett, but was missing the bow itself?
The bowstring, since I feel that all bows should be at the ready, is made from doll making accessory cat whiskers. The securing peg in the top was from the marker bolts of the AOME Uruk Hai assault bow.

Larger, and definitely will pack a punch.

Very cool. Undead, you say. Hmm, I think I like where this is heading!

I'd but multiples if they were for sale.

Only the third one is my custom John, the others are to show scale since the existing crossbows are a bit too small for distance penetration. ;-)

Now to see if I can make the quivered variety, where the bolts are side mounted for portability. Might have to sacrifice my Stormy bow with the quivered arrows, or devise a way to have the loose bolts mounted on a removable bracket.

Tanx.
