A bone of contention to most Joe fans. Most hate it and rank it as one of the worst vehicles ever. Some, like to wear it as a hat.

However, is there hope for this vehicle? Joedios member silentdusty thought so and made this pretty cool custom ride for his Lt. Claymoore.

I would think that some of us here could take this silly vehicle and do something else with it. What would you do to improve on the rat?

If I had one (that was still all in one piece, unlike the original one I bought off the shelf lo these many eons ago), I'd prolly Bat-ize it. There's gotta be a time when Batman would need a hovercraft, yes?

I think the only way to improve on the rat would be to cut the hover fans off of the side of the BF2000 Vindicator vehicle and slap them on the sides of the Rat.

Maybe a good snow vehicele if you add some ski's up front where those 2 holes are, then add some small treds underneath ? :-/

I think adding some rubber bellows around the bottom would make it look alot more hovercraft-y. Or the tank treads idea would be good. Or add a hull to make it a boat. The main problem with the Rat is that it looks very incomplete, like it's missing the bottom half, whatever that may be.

I'd drop a Cinder block on it...weather it was on Scrambles head or not.

but seriously,...I never even realized how "rat" shaped the Rat actualy is....I guess I was always just too blown away by the RED and SUCKTITUDE of it before....So obviously painting it is at least a step in the right direction.

I do agree that adding a bit of skirting to make it look like a real hover craft would improve the idea of what it's supposed to be.

Ouch, dude, Ouch.

My only regret was not going home with the Rat Hat.

It would be improved greatly just by having a character show up and say, "mnyah! You dirty Cobra Rat! You killed me brother! See? Mnyah!"
