I have a special Boston Fire Department tribute planned!

OH!
You mean the team that (as of last notice) is still undefeated even with all the public and media scutiny, proving they don't have to cheat to win?

About the gun section of the Road Rebel, I seem to recall my late Father mentioning that a lot of CFR vehicles were equipped with a penetrator that could pierce the metal skin of the fuselage and then release water/foam to extinguish the fires inside the cabin. I've also seen pics of this online, so I'm sure you could get a rough idea what it looks like.
Would it be possible to make a section of this penetrator and hang/fasten to the back of the Road Rebel? Then it would reason they could just put that on the end of the 'gun' and use it if need be. Since there would be C2 Greyhounds, Vikings, AWACs and other cargo planes/helos landing on the Flagg, it could be an important piece of equipment.
Just a little touch that could make this even better.
EDIT:
Two things just occured to me as I viewed the YoJoe link.
1) Whatever you decide to paint this, please remember it has to stand out on the flight deck. It is still an emergency response vehicle. As mentioned in a previous post, various members of the flight deck crew do different jobs and are visually clued so that everybody knows the job they do.
The color of you custom would have to tie in with the colors of the CFR people. This way if there is an emergency, in the event somebody sees this vehicle in motion they know they have to get out of the way to let the operator do his/her job. Also the pilots have to be able to see (pick it out on the deck) while they are on approach.
I guess what I'm saying is it should visually tie into established flight deck protocols. ie-red = fire truck
2) I noticed this is a tracked vehicle. The fuel hauler has wheels and the one reference pic you provided shows wheels on the CFR truck. I believe this could be a problem, unless maybe you paint the cleats black and the rest of the tracks a different color. This way you could mentioned that the cleats have special rubberized pads on them to prevent them from tearing up the flight deck.
I seem to remember watching news footage of the Fall of Saigon and feeling incredulous at seeing Huey after Huey getting shoved off the deck into the South China Sea (poor helicopters!). I just can't recall whether that was a wheeled vehicle with a blade on the front or a tracked bulldozer...
