I have several SW figures for fodder that I'd like to attach to 25th Joes.

So popping off the heads no problem.
Popping off lower legs and arms no problem.

How do you remove the shoulders/ upper arms from the torso?
Is it simply boil and pop or do I need to perform surgery?

it depends. some I've boiled and popped, others I've had to cut open by running a razor blade along the seems of the torso.
