I am currently going through all my created characters, updating and editing my previous attempts for clarity and to stream line my efforts. I am also in the middle of getting more digitized, rather than relying on decades old paper to keep track of it all.

I have previously posted about Reptilicus, my 'Serpentor 2.0' creation. I have a Hero Machine design in that thread on here.

I am looking for ideas for new DNA source material.

Several iterations of Serpentor used the DNA of:

Comic Book
Hannibal
Ivan the Terrible
Alexander the Great
Julius Caeser
Attila the Hun
Ghengis Khan
Vlad the Impaler
Philip of Macedonia
Napolean Bonaparte
Thomas Arashikage 'Storm Shadow'

or

Cartoon
several of the above, along with:
Grigori Rasputin
Montezuma
Geronimo
Eric the Red
Egyptian general Xanuth Amon-Toth
Sgt Slaughter

Sun Tzu (not used, Sgt Slaughter's DNA was substituted)

One of the issues Serpentor had was that all of the personalities tried to assert dominance over the others, leading to mental breakdown under stress. I want to avoid that, but mixing in personalities that might work well together, rather than against each other. Maybe Dr. Mindbender has written computer code to make all the personalities get along better. Considering the lack of scruples and morals, let's assume obtaining new sources of DNA won't be a problem.

So far I am looking at:
Sun Tzu (military strategist)
Saladin
Charlemagne
Hammurabi (Code of Hammurabi might play a part)
Shaka (Zulu Chief)
William Wallace
Lord Nelson
Simon Bolivar
Thutmose III
General George S. Patton (actually stated more than once he felt he had been reincarnated)

I am looking for other source material. Maybe someone from Japan, England, Native America, Central/South America, Scandinavia, etc.

Lookng forward to you suggestions...

I thought Vlad Tepes (an ancestor of mine) was used in the cartoon as well?

Yes, I didn't type out all of them from the Cartoon, but referrenced that, and did just the ones that were additional from the Comic Book version.

I don't have anything to add to the list, but I like this topic. It causes folks to give some thought to our human history and maybe research historical figures we're not familiar with.

OK, I found a document I had made awhile ago that listed the majority of the already mentioned people, but also included a few oothers. I think someone else had made up the list. I must have copied/pasted/cleaned it up.

Here are additional ones mentioned:

Amon-Toth-Fictional Egyptional General created for the cartoon
Cyrus the Great-Persion military conqueror and Emperor
Erik the Batterer-Similar to Erik the Red, has a battle-axe called Skullspkitter. Created for cartoon
Henry V-Military leader that conquered much of France
Montezuma II-Last monarch of the Aztec Empire (cartoon)
King Solomon-Wisest King in history, created a great empire through multiple marriages and diplomacy (referenced in filecard)
King Tashaka-Indian Lord of all serpents (cartoon)

Miyamoto Musashi would be a good fit. He was a legendary samurai that had 60 duels and won every one by outsmarting his opponents, often using psychological advantages.

Edited to add Bruce Lee as an additional possibility. Perhaps other styles of hand to hand combat masters as well?

How about some more modern sources like Ho Chi Mihn fought off France and Japan, and fought the United States to a stalemate.
Jim Brown or Bo Jackson one of the most athletic humans ever on earth.

As of right now, both of those men are still living. I'm not looking to use DNA from living donors.
