Revell Junior Kits?

When I was at another Ollie's last week, I saw several Revell Junior Kits there for $10 each.

An ambulance, a firetruck, a racecar, and an off-road vehicle.

I was interested in the off-road vehicle, because it might look cool in certain GIJOE colors, as an improved VAMP.

I couldn't tell the size, so I didn't get one.

Has anyone gotten one of these vehicles, any others in the line?

I did see a reference online they were 1/20th.

looks like $10 is a great price. the reviews are all over the place. there is a ? about scale that isn't any help to me, but maybe someone can confirm.

Amazon says it is 1:20 scale so it could work, but be a little small. The biggest issue with these is the leg clearance between the seat and the steering wheel and room for the feet. It being a model, you'd have easier access to modify those to work better.

Retroblasting reviewed these model kits and used a vintage Shipwreck to give it scale (too small but good for background). These give me similar vibes.

Haven't opened them. Might be a few days, until I return home.

I was kinda hoping it would work for an off-duty civilian type motor pool vehicle. Something the Joe's could use out of uniform to recce Broca Beach or Springfield.

looks about the size of the first army jeeps, but newly styled. i could see it as a postal van or even for that ups team. i have several jeeps already torn down and "started".
