So, like pretty much everyone else I am working on my adventure team(although I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few here who actually had AV joes as a young kid b4 Arah existed lol ). Anyway, I am turning a clearance tomahawk into the AV helo, and decided they wouldn't need a Gatling gun, but the turret cameras would be useful so I'm swapping out the gun. The best idea I've had so far is in the pic. My question are
Will it work when painted?
What should it be for?

P.S. a bonus of this is if you want to make your Gatling gun spin, this works perfect. No glue necessary if you cut it right

As far as what it's for, it can be part of a guidance system for navigating in low vis and at night.
