A few of the "2 for 5 bucks" figures I got at the convention are superglued together (apparently someone never heard of replacement O-rings) any help on how to remove supreglue without destroying the plastic with the acetone based nail polish remover?

I'm assuming you mena torso to waist here. Dropping it in some boiling hot water for a minute might help losen it up enough for you to pull them apart. Using an X-acto knife or flat head screw driver and small hammer as a chisel/crow bar mihgt aslo be helpful.
