I have this one pretty much finished I think. I was going for a mix of all the Links from the different Legend of Zelda games, but I wanted him to be a boy over everything else. I just have two problems:

1) I have a quiver of arrows for him, but I don't know where to put it. I don't know if I should put it on his left side attached to the belt on his waist, or on his back by the sword sheath.

2) He still looks a lot like the hobbit character. I don't mind it because I was going for a realistic Link, but my wife says she can't get over him looking like the character from LOTR. Any ideas on how to make him look not so much like the base character?

Not sure how you'd go about it shy of replacing or rescuplting the head, but I think if you thinned the face out he'd look more Link less Hobbit.

I agree with Viper about thinning the face out.

Link has more angular facial features, and that Hobbit's got chubby cheeks. You could also try modding the nose to make it a bit more pointy.

Really diggin' the rest of the figure, though, man. He's looking good.

I agree with Viper and WLN. Thin out the cheeks and he'll look completely different.

Not sure where to put the arrows, Young Link used a sligshot to my knowledge...hmm I'll pop in Majoras Mask and check it out...I believe he used arrows in that one

He uses arrows in Wind Waker also. A slingshot would be a cool accessory though. I'll get on that.

I'll see about slimming down his face and maybe painting his eyes. Thanks for the ideas, guys.

Wind waker doesn't count....never liked it in the zelda series

I think if you could his ears it would do a world of difference, maybe use one of the Elve figures from LOTR? Thinner face and the pointy ears.
