I've never done any custom work, but I saw reviews on the True Hero's F-22 and I've also read thru the pythonization guide on the wiki. Does anyone have any other tips or advice?
The best advice I can give is actually take the plane apart and paint each half seperately. Basically do your maroon base coat on both the top and bottom halfs of the plane, you will have to lay the wing tips where they need to go when you paint each side. After your base coat is finished take your jersey material and lay it over each half of the plane and spray over the jersey material with black and silver paint. You go with whatever pattern you want to make the scales but I like to do my black and silver in strips to give it a more uniform look. Once you are finished sparying one half, let the piant dry really good for about 30 minutes before you attempt to pull off the the jersey material or else you run the risk of smearing the paint.
