I started doing customs around 90/91. In that time I've done about 700 or so, and I still own about 20 of them. I sell them all, my most famous buyer being Steve Sansweet of Star Wars lore. Walter Koenig commented on a Chekov figure I did, but didn't buy it.

I figure anything I sell, I can redo (and usually better).

I'm usually not a fan of buying but when I first found JC.com I bought two Zanya figures from Sharkbait. Loved those dreads of hers. I bought two Alley Vipers from JoeRhyno on eBay, the camo still amazes me. Most recently I bought iwbeta's Snakeeyes with the Punisher skull facepaint.

Midgarn sent me a custom Carcass for Christmas.

As for selling, I sold copies of my Gnawgahyde and Tigerclaw customs. But I really wan't feeling it while making them. Someone showed interest in my Lotus custom so I tracked down the Jinx parts to make another and then never heard from the guy again. After that I swore off of commission work. I don't feel it when making a custom I have already made and I can't do original pieces until I get the right mood. I've already got pieces waiting for paint that I can't get in gear to paint.

I did make Levantine a Brawler decoed Clone Trooper for Christmas.

I have sold several customs to a regular customer and have done quite a few commissions.

I have bought a few full and partal custom figure kits from Alyosha.

I've sold many of my customs outright either privately or on eBay and I've done commission work. Haven't had much commission work these days; apparently, I'm too expensive.

Well, too bad I have money tied up elsewhere or I'd be after some of your recent original 13 customs and the like 8-O ;-)

I don't buy or sell any customs. Mine are never good enough to warrant charging someone for them (and I make them for me anyway ;) ) and when I see a custom that's so good that I'd rather buy it than copy it, it costs too much anyway.

So I basically just sit around and steal custom ideas, then produce a half-assed facsimile :P

Buy: Yes I have a few. For the most part I don't buy customs though because I'm cheap.

Sell: You've GOT to be kidding me. Noone would want any of my crappy customs
