I have been using Rit dye lately to get away from painting red because that sucks. But have come across a problem with a recent custom attached. The paint is not setting over the red dyed area I'm not sure if it is the base figure or if you just cant paint over.Any comments or helpful tips would be appreciated. Thanks,John

I'd guess it would be the base figure or the paint, because I've painted over dozens of RIT dyed figures without a problem. Try adding a layer of clear-coat first and then painting.
