It seems that everytime I disassemble 25A legs, the hips end up becoming loose despite me carefully placing the rubber friction pads back in place. Any solutions?

Every time I take thighs apart, I glue the pad in place. Some times I put too much glue, others I put just enough. Can't say I've had any problems at all either way.

I make a shim out of .010" thick sheet styrene, to put behind the polycap. Seems to help.

If it ain't broke, take it apart and lose some of the pieces. Then, it'll be a custom.

The drop of glue goes into the outer leg half? I'll give it a try.

I put a drop of superglue on each side of the leg half, let it dry and then put em back on. I haven't had any problem with it and they get tight but not too.
