I liked the idea of Simon Katanga, Captain of teh Bantu Wind. Pity he only appeared briefly in ROTLA and in just a couple of teh comics. I have always imagined him as something like the Han Solo of the Indiana Jones universe. Just a pity that the IJ franchise didn't take off like Star Wars. He may have gained the same iconic status as Boba Fett, and to me, he is more interesting and has far more potential than everybodies favourite bounty hunter. I figured that we would be getting a figure of this character at the same time Hell freezes over, so out came the scalpel and clay.

Nice custom, though. The white looks rough, have you tried spraying stuff? Just mask the rest with insulating tape. Perfect results everytime.

Someone else who likes Captain Kanaga!

I always wondered what his story was. Given his background and the timeline in which he appeared, I figured he had to be a real bad-a$$ to get to his position. I'm blanking right now, but I think he mentioned something to the German boarding party about killing off Indy and keeping Marion.

He's like the Lando Calrissian of the Indyverse. Cool, suave, and rebelling right under the noses of the bad guys.
