The Spectres have highly advanced gear. Their optics allow them to see in darkness far better then any other known night vision. The Spectres color patches on their gear, are specially designed to glow a bright color when viewed by other Spectres night vision goggles, thus giving them an advantage in seeing where their fellows are.

They also love to use fear tactics, they can switch on their goggles and optics to emit light and in the darkness look like demonic eyes, they like to turn them off and on thus giving them the apperance of "Spectres".

Some members even adapt their gear to be able to emit light, making their visage a ghostly and terrifying view in the darkness.

Can you imagine the fear of this Spectre coming towards you in the dark? (This is Dread-Night)

then suddenly dissapear as he turns off his light emiters only to be right infront of you in the next moment?

This Spectre in the light.(he doesnt look as good in the light compared to the regular paitned ones, b/c the GID green paint is really light color and a bit gritty/rubbery)

Neat idea...I like adding the Glow in the Dark paint to customs...

I've found a whole line of GitD acrylics at Hobby Lobby that are regular bright colors, not just that same GitD pale green.

I'm not a fan of the heads you've used...I know those mounts are the modern real soldier look...but I hate them for Night Vipers....Night Vipers were really defined by their monocular.

I like the look of the figures, and I think the glow in the dark is a cool play feature (I mean, who doesn't love glow in the dark?)

I will admit, though, that the first thing I thought of when you showed the picture of Dread- Night's torso lit up was (::Brak Voice::)"Hey, buddy, thanks for indicating center-mass for me. I just lay the snowman on it and..." Then again, I'm a miserable bastard that let's such things distract hime from cool, so...

I'd like to check out that glow in the dark for maybe some figures that are a little more noticable. How "DAY GLO" is that paint to the naked eye, in the light?

thanks for the comments guys, I really tried to do something a little outside the box with these. The day glow fo rthe green is very very bright, I can charge it next to my lamp for a few seconds and move it away and see the glow. The red doesnt glow as bright, even in the dark it glows noticble only for a little while before going dead. The green you can charge and it can noticably glow for hours.

Dread-Night actually wants you to think that way (though his fellow spectres think hes suicidal). He flickers his light emitters on to show his position and visage, and turns it off and relocates right away. You start shooting at where he was and he flickers again in another position and quickly relocates, making you wonder where he will be next...this goes on several times, where he appears and disapears like a spectre/ghost, most likely right next to you before he shows himself one last time (for the sole purpose to see the surprise on his victims face) beofre he kills his prey.

Where are those heads/helmets from?

Could we get some recipes?

The helms are from Alyosha, http://www.brokenarrowtoys.com/

Terror Night and Dread Night are using SE torso and arms, Cobra Officer head, legs, and web gear.

Demon Night is pure Scarlett, put a bit of green stuff on the shoulders and the rings around her biceps. Had to rip off her hair and glue on the helm though, (the only one to have a one peice helm/head) and cut off the pony tail and reattach it, though you cant see form the pics.

Death Night is Hawk head, Cobra Officer/Trooper Torso, SE legs, SE Belt with cross strap cut off, and Beach head Vest.
