Aside from a Scarlett head-to-toe repaint, this is my first true 25A figure. It's also my first custom from outside of the GI Joe universe.

As soon as I heard that The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers was coming out on DVD, I decided to assemble a team of unique customs to protect Earth and our allies. Couldn't resist saying that. It's pretty hard core geek. I'm sorry. ;)

I figured out which parts to use for which characters and then started on Niko.

I tried to really nail the look of the character. For anyone paying attention, I placed the holster on the wrong side and ignored the chest strap entirely.

The hair is just a wee bit big, but it's still pretty good.

The blending of the upper and lower torso isn't flawless, but it's pretty good for a first time. As I truly hate the mid-torso articulation, I'll probably be doing this as I tinker with 25A customs.

The more work I did on this custom, the less interested in it I became. I'd almost say it's unfinished. The striping on the sleeves, for example, needs to be edged with white to cover up the feathering of the blue. However, I don't see that ever getting done.

Likewise, making this one Galaxy Ranger might have been enough to get it out of my system. Although I have Zach, Doc, and Gooseman loosely assembled, I just don't have any desire to work on them.

That's actually a pretty slick custom. The hair might be big for today's standards but as a period piece I think it is fine as is. :D Good job all around on this one.

At first I was gonna ask where was Klaatu and Barada... ;)

...then I saw it was Niko from the Galaxy Rangers.

As a fan of the show I always wanted to see an action figure line.

It is awesome that you are making these. I can't wait to see the rest of them.
