Yes, quite nice indeedy, both of them. The only thing I'd say needs to be fixed are the chains holding the spare tire on, they need to be silver instead of blue; and the headlights need to white.
What paint is that? I presume it's from a spraycan, yes?
As to a name for the first one, perhaps something acronymish like the COBRA 3C - Civilian Control Cruiser? Perhaps the COBRA Pacifier?
I thought about making the chains silver, but I wasn't sure. I thought it might be to shiny... too garish. I couldn't find any reference pics to see what a real vehicle of this kind would do with chains. Would they paint them to reduce glare or would they have shiny chains? I suppose I could give it a try and see what it looks like. I agree that the headlights need to be painted, but I can't decide what color. I think white would be too bright, but I can't figure out what else to do with it. Any other suggestions?
I used Krylon Fusion Navy Blue. I hate the gloss, but I can't find this product in matte or flat finishes, so I have to spray the whole thing with Testors Dull Coat after painting. It costs a good deal more (the tiny can of Dull Coat is more expensive than the large can of paint), but it's worth it. I love the look of the Dull Coat and the Fusion is everything they say it is.
Thanks for the name suggestions. I did some research to see if there are any snakes that have heavy armor type scales, but came up with nothing. Maybe an acronym is the way to go, but I always saw acronyms as a Joe thing. Although there is the S.N.A.K.E, the C.L.A.W., the H.I.S.S....
Thanks Again!
