So everyone knows I was pretty dismayed by the 25th Bludd. I thought my favorite character deserved better treatment and, when I saw iwbeta's recent rework, I knew it was possible.

The Hi.S.S. driver torso and armored arm articulation were totally inspired by that custom (although I used a Cobra Legions CC elbow joint instead of Snake Eyes' and I didn't have to modify that at all to accept the lower arm from Bludd).

The Red Star legs were something I started thinking about back when I first saw online images of Bludd and Red Star.

The crotch took extensive internal modification (deepening and widening of the sockets) in order for the painted legs to work in it without rubbing or scraping. If the legs were done in brown plastic, they'd work fine though (hint hint Hasbro).

I also had to deepen and widen the arm sockets slightly to avoid rubbing on the shoulders.

I'd still like to make the helmet removable, but I really like the face on this head so I may just live with that.

What do you guys think?

Very very nice. The Red Star legs work perfectly (though I think the holster is too big but that's a Hasbro problem not yours) and the HISS Driver torso was definitely the right way to go.

Nicely done.

This is EXACTLY what we should have gotten from Hasbro. Of course you know I plan to steal this recipe once I have an extra Red Star in hand. ;)

Spinny this is proof you need to work for hasbro, ten times better with minimal efforts (well if they had done it that way).

nice work I agree it is a big holster... what would destros upper leg look like instead? or is that too long?

heaps better though.... its fustrating when they start producing more because of high demand, adn start cutting on quality. Especaly the use of previous sculpts... that is soo sad. or the reproduction peices such as the comic book packs.

Great work. The figure makes much more sense (parts wise).

Looks great. The holster is big, but I like it. If it was a big deal you could use a Duke thigh.

The brown is a little dark to me, but that could be a camera/picture/monitor thing. The parts definately work better than the Zartan parts. I'd probably buy this Bludd

That's an excellent Bludd, Spin. You're really making me rethink my idea of using the combo I've been thinking about for my own Bludd fix. (Evolutions Hawk torso with the SW TIE pilot comic pack chest armor). It means I'll need to look for a third HISS driver, though. And here I told myself I was done with 2 of those for my two Target HISS's. :)
