Here are my two entries in the Broken Arrow Custom Contest.

Robo-Joe won 3rd Place. I sculpted the cyborg parts on the head and modified it to fit the Flash neck post. The left arm was attached with a piece of styrene rod and Fixit sculpt to the Cobra Commander shoulder. The legs are a combination of Microman Military Force hips with Magne Force legs. I had to split the lower torso and dremel it out to get the Microman T-joint to fit and it worked out better than I had hoped.

Head: Spy Troops Tomax (modified)
Torso, right arm: 25th Flash
Left shoulder: 25th Cobra Commander
Left arm, legs: Microman Magne Force/Military Force
Rifle: Marauder Inc.

Tundra Stalker was a custom I had planned on doing for my collection anyway and decided to throw him into the competition for giggles. Bascially just a simple parts swap and repaint with a little sculpting for the quilted gloves. Nothing too fancy.

Head: 25th Stalker
Torso, arms: 25th Snow Job
Legs: 25th Arctic Snake-eyes
Rifle: Marauder Inc
Kayak: Chap Mei

I voted for these 2 ;-)

Robo Joe is way cool, IMHO, the only thing i would have liked to see on him is some color to his bionic eye, that would have made him stand out more, excellent work on him and Stalker to.

Congrats on 3rd. place.

Nice work on robo joe... i have my one in construction atm, but I'm waiting on bits and peices to arrive. Still decide if I should wait for the 25th BAT to use that arm or not...

I'm using the original head, but I might change my mind, that head is a fit for robojoe.

As much as your RJ is incredible, I have to say I'm more in awe of Tundra Stalker. I've always loved this version of the character. I've been wanting to make a 25th version, but wasn't sure what to use. You've inspired me, MS!

Love your work on Stalker's gloves, but the custom is ruined for me by the really bright red and yellow pockets. They are eye catching in a bad way.

Robo-Joe is head to toes awesome. I love it when the Joeborg gets some love.

Ditto what everyone else said.

Robo-Joe is amazing, tight work on that one.

I'd get rid of the stop-lights on Tundra Stalker, either go both red or both yellow.

With Stalker I was trying to follow the ARAH figure's color scheme very closely and for the most part it worked. The pockets were originally all red and yellow but I toned it down to just the flaps. I just may go back now and repaint them when I redo the torso. The green down the center isn't working for me at all. It was an experiment in literal translation and it worked for the most part. Just need to tweak some things.

Glad you guys like them and thanks for the comments!

I agree with Scramble about the red and yellow pockets. I know those colors are on the originals but they don't make sense here. Everything else is perfect though.

Robo Joe is cool. The legs and arm really work for him. I like what you were going for with the head but it doesn't look quite right. I can't tell if the metal is coming out of the skull or if it is sitting on top of it. To me it makes a difference. It doesn't look machine enough for a cyborg. It looks cheap hollywood b movie cyborg.

I like the green down the middle but agree on the pockets. Maybe all-black webbing or black on the cross-strap might make the green work better for you.

Robo Joe is inspired. Really digging the way you went with him.

Tundra Stalker is a decent homage to an original figure which, frankly, I always felt was a bit off. I think others have hit on my major issues regarding original color choices on the Hasbro version. You've certainly captured those, but I'd love to see you fix it for them.

Also, I'd like to see the knit cap on his head.

I considered a knit cap for him but my sculpting abilities at this scale aren't quite good enough yet (as evidenced by Robo-Joe's head). I've tried to sculpt a cap before (on a head for Frostbite) and it didn't turn out like I had hoped so I decided not to try with this one. I do agree though that he'd look pretty cool with a knit cap. I'll have to see what my friends at Tri-Gate Creations have that might work.
