This is going to be an ongoing WiP topic as I fix Bludd. This first post will cover repairing his arm.

Ahh So the 25th Major bludd has a straight arm, just like the original? How gay.

Yup, exactly the route I'm taking. I ended up using Scarlett's forearm though, since the Bludd elbow section is pretty small. Just waiting to find the new Comic Packs so I can use Red Stars lower legs.

I plan to put the DTC Bludd head onto a HISS Driver with BACC's right arm. To fix everything that's wrong with what they're giving us, one might as well not even buy the fig in the first place.

Yeah, I was tempted to skip Bludd too, but the right arm is sculpted very nicely, and to me the rocket pistol and backpack with removable rockets is worth 7 bucks. Still, when all is said and done, my Bludd will only be using the right arm, left forearm, and accessories from 25th Bludd. Haven't decided on the head yet. If the 25th helmet fit on the DTC head it wouldn't be a contest, as it is, I dunno.

Iwbeta,

I am mailing you mine when it comes and you are going to fix it for me...otherwise...my guy might not have an arm. ;-)

That's some excellent work, and I like the use of those boots instead of the Zartan ones.

But, I do have to say you're all crazy. I love the fact that 25th Bludd's arm is like the original. Just a personal preference, I guess. Back in the 80's, it made some kind of twisted sense that a toy robotic arm wouldn't bend the same as a toy human arm. So, seeing the 25th version stay true to that original quirk just makes me smile a little bit.

eh, different strokes for different folks.

at least the wrist swivels and the shoulder moves on a ball on the new arm, it's just the elbow that's dedicated.
