that's cool, nicely done and it looks like the b.e.t. as far as I remember. I think a vehicle would be so much harder to make than figures even if it was a small vehicle.
Congrats on this one,
Tim

My only crit is that you should have sanded it down some before you painted it up, it would have turned out much better, take your time. I do like this vehicele, nice choice for a custom.

Awesome undertaking. I've had one in planning stages for over 2 years, and seeing your's it might just stay that way. I have to agree with JBYRDD on the sanding. But maybe a bit of drybrushing might give it some weathering or a snow effect to hide a bit of the rough spots.

thanks alot, but about the sanding there is not much i could have done with that because i put it all together using HOT GLUE and i tried to smooth it out with a a hot ironand it actually made a huge difference from the WIP pictures.

give it a shot, make one its really not that hard. i have been planning this for about a month or so ever since i got my son the GI Joe movie and he put the i dea in my head to make it!
the only thing that gave me trouble was the panels connection to the base as i wanted it to be able to move from the forward position to the upward position with no trouble and i actually got that done with a hinge i made from some old desk's plastic screw parts and a plastic rod i had lying around!

The rough joints are really distracting...from an otherwise excellent custom.

you might have luck cutting away the excess hot glue from the joints with an exacto or other razor blade.

for future projects...Don't rely on hot glue for assemly. It's great and really helpful when you're just "tacking" parts together so you don't have to hold them for the real glue to dry...but as you can see it's rather distracting.

Check out Coolchem.com I've had great luck with their cyanopoxy and styrene plastic...it all makes for easier and better looking scratch building.
