I have so many extra CC and SS lying in my parts bin that I was almost beginning to run out of ideas. Until I walked into my room and looked at my RAH collection and saw Worms. All I need is a helmet. The original is too large. Does anyone know how to downsize helmets??? I'd be willing to work out a deal for a Worms helmet???

AWESOME!

May I suggest the moray helmet that came with Depth Charge as a replacement for the original helmet? Then It'd be perfect.

That could be interesting. Although I really want to either get a shrunken helmet or try my hand at it. But if you know anyone with an extra Depthcharge helmet who'd be willing to work out a deal I'd try that.

it's amazing how many figures can be made from that Cobra Commander mold. This looks awesome, and I second the Depth Charge moray helmet.

Add a helmet and you'd have perfection.

My only suggestion is to use paper or sculpt the medals on instead of just painting them. That surface is too smooth for just painting. Having the added texture will fix that up nicely.

Pluv raises a good point, I would sculpt on the medals. A MORAY helmet from Depth Charge would make a great helmet.

Yeah I want to sculpt the medals. I'm gonna try a couple things and see how they turn out. Once I update the figure I'll post new pics.

Great use of otherwise crap parts...

I pretty much agree with everything everyone eles said before...The Moray Helmet from Spytroops Depth Charge would make a killer update...If not that then maybe somthing from a StarWars figure...one of those Mandolorian helmets or a modified Republic Commando helmet.

Medels need to be 3 dimensional...either some paper and greebles or maybe even make a push mold of the original figure's medals.

Not exactly sure of the source...but I just got a cast of the Spytroops moray helmet...based on the style and materials, i'd say it's a J&R/Mastergunzz item...not sure if he's still got the molds...G2G might have them now...either way it's a lead if you want to go that route.

Check out method C here for doing those medals. I haven't tried it yet myself, but it seems like it would work great for this sort of figure. Seriously [LASER BLAST] custom though man. Awesome work. Only thing I might've done differently is find some other lower legs to use. Maybe from Duke... For a more battlefield friendly look.

Very cool looking. I think Hasbro is going to save a lot of R & D with all these great 25th customs. If you need help trying to copy the medals from the original, try this tutorial out (push mold like Nova suggested):

http://www.drunkdwarves.com/pages/artttgttccasting.html

You can skip the cutting step and just put a spot off green stuff on the figure and stamp the mold on it.
