The wife & kid just got home from their vacation, so this will be my last update for a while (since my free time will be re-allocated now ;) )

Here's Movie Abomination "fixed" -- I sculpted new features on his head so he'd be recognizable and I painted the whole figure a darker green.

IronMan -- I'm not totally happy with him, but it'll do until I can find a better base fig or they come out with a 1:18 IM that doesn't have a pea head or scrawny limbs (I'm looking at you, MLS IM....)

Image

Updated my War Machine from way back to give him a "gun metal" finish.

And as much as I love Sam Jackson - he'll never be Nick Fury to me. This guy is as close as I'm likely to get. The head isn't as scowly as I'd like, but he'll do.

Thanks for looking!

Nice, Dan. Abomination turned out great. And I love the Fury head.

Even though I'M a fan of Ultimate Fury yours is equally win and one of the best customs of him I've seen.

How did you make the helmet for Iron Man? What did you use for the chest repulsor?

WOW Chief, you have definately surpassed me as a customiser, that Abomination is perfection! And I may very well steal that Fury recipe if I ever decide to make one.

Thanks guys! I'm not as happy with these -- especially with the armored guys because it's a royal b*tch to make it look like metal (couldn't get the stuff smooth enough.) But I'm glad you like them.

The IM head is actually a SpyTroops GungHo with his face sanded off. War Machine was a Sand Viper head with some sculpted details, but I wanted a smoother look for IM -- I'm still not there yet, though. The repulsor was just the bottom end of a JvC neckball shaved off and painted.

And I just realized that the way Nick is standing, he has a bit of a hunch back :P --- he looks more "Nick-ish" when he's standing erect (heh - "erect".)

And here's the latest Avengers recruit (knew I'd find a use for that v3 Snake-Eyes...)

I am just not digging the abomination or the iron mans, not dogging your work though they are just not astheticly pleasing to me. The Black Panther and Nick Fury do though and you get a thumbs up from me on those.
