I had a few exposures left on a roll of film so I took a few of my joes out back and snapped a few photos with my SLR just to see what I could get. I've never photographed anything this small with my SLR before and I was afraid they wouldn't trun out. For the most part I think they turned out ok, I had a few action shots that I didn't scan because they didn't turn out. I like playing with focusing which is one reason I opted to try film out rather than the digital camera we have here. Both Grunt's head is on the command figure's body now and Grand Slam has Duke's jetpack now. I hope to take them back out again when teh weather is nice and try and get a few more with teh digital camera.

Good stuff. I like those alternate head choices too.

Echo the head choices, and was this a SLR? or DSLR? I just have my old SLR, and was thinking of using the macro lens I have (used for gems and skin maps and such) for some really up close images.

If that is a DSLR, wow, I am amazed at the details.

Cool beans.

Nice pics, man! Where'd you get the goggles for Rock N Roll and the backpack for the Snake Eyes-based custom?

Thanks for the compliments guys, as I said before I'm hoping to get some closer shots taken of Grand Slam and Grunt especially since both have slightly changed.

As for the camera it's an old SLR I've had for about five years now. I'd like to upgrade to a digital SLR but I haven't had the funds and I haven't gotten enough use out of this one yet to really justify getting a new camera. Sadly I just have the basic lens that came wit the camera so I really had no idea how the pictures would turn out. I laid about three four feet away from them and then zoomed in manually until I thought it would look good.

The goggles for RnR came from a bbi figure I bought four or five years ago, I just never really had a use for them until I slid them on to his helmet. I figured they would be nice for him to have when the RAM comes out. "Night ops" Grunt's backpack comes from the Target exclusive WWII figures, I want to pick up a few more for the backpacks since they look very similar to what the Joes wore in the first issue.
