KNOCK OUT - Cobra Ninja Commando

Ray McCormac was the best and the worst Police casino crime detective in Las Vegas PD history, he prosecuted the arrested long before the judge ever could. His discharge led to a position of the meanest and violent head of security at Flamingo in the hotel's history. Cheaters in Vegas are dealt with in-house, the suspected either never come back or just play legit after... except when 'Boss Ray' was on the job and his trusty old nightstick was the last form of discipline a few cheaters ever experienced. Before his stint in LVPD, McCormac was already expert at Kendo, Tae Kwon Do, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. He had the scars to show every injury he'd ever let every criminal give him before he killed them and even some that his own psychosis made him desecrate himself with. After the hotel had to let him go, he immigrated to learn the art and walk the path of the ninja in south Japan for some years, living like a refugee, surviving as a nomad, working as an assassin. Even living in secret there, his work gave him a reputation and Cobra sought him out. KNOCK OUT is one of the most brutal and efficient people on Cobra Commander's payroll, everybody has a good reason to be scared of him.

That is a KNOCK OUT, JD. I dig the look, and overall bass-ass vibe he gives off.

Nice, i see i'm not the only one tapping the potential of Narnia figs, i was wondering how to use that face shield, it looks great on your custom, again, nice job on him.

I don't know about the "Ninja" aspect of this character. It seems forced on both the custom and the bio. He even looks like he stepped out of the Army of Two video game. He loooks very bad ass and like a true mercenary. That's why I don't think he needs the added "ninja" title.

I woulda filed the goatee off of the mask for this context; but this guy definately gives off a heavy 'Fark you to death' vibe.

So the ninjafication seems forced? No moreso than it would be for Flint or Road Pig, eh? :shifty: Seriously, I can definitely see your point on that one, Pluv, but it's great to know the rest of the bio and the whole figure DO work though. The Narnia line is ripe with all kinds of interesting parts and weapons, I agree with Jbyrrd on that, I had been out at stores on the hunt for a cool mask to use for Knock Out and one look at this mask in the package and it spoke to me that it'd be perfect (AV, yeah, I can see where you're coming from on the "goatee" too... it kinda adds to the creepiness at any rate).

Everyone knows I love the minor one-note characters from the toyline, but I'm thinking there is no more obscure of a GIJoe character to make a custom of now, I think Knock is the threshold... Right?

I think every artist is proud of most their works, but be that as it may, this custom is most certainly one of my favorites. The insane scars were a late addition to the recipe as he looked too plain with just bare arms, and Mr. Zsaz provided the inspiration for the marred skin.

Thank you again!

If it didn't show up in my neck of the woods it doesn't exist. :D

Work is an understatement. He kicks very much butt. Here's a pick from Army of Two. That's where I think this guy fits. Just a plain bad ass killing machine with all kinds of training and wet works in his resume.

 Knock Out was the only salvageable part of the cancelled NC series and a redesign was definitely necessary.

ahhhh okay, I didn't know the game but that screen shot illustrates your point perfectly. I can absolutely see him geared up like that and I think I'm going to go on a search for some more weaponry... he might want all kinds of destructive back-up to pick from.
