End of Days Serpentor- Finished! (Second helmet added)

Here's an early look at my End of Days Serpentor. In this verse Serpentor is a seven-footer, thriving in the post apocalyptic world.
I used basic elements from the V1 design, only with colors from real snakes.
Still to be added are- new lower arms with unique weapons, helmet, neck guard and cape.
Let me know what you think so far.

that's pretty neat John, what is the base figure and did he come looking like this with the scales looking or are they sculpted on?

I'm liking it, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with him next. I like the fact that you also based his coloring and scales off or real snakes. I always like the little details like that which can make a figure even cooler.

Tim, the base figure is a SHS Colossus. The scales were done with a small bushing.
Dave, I was going to go with a straight up repaint based on the V1 figure (only darker) then thought of this pallet. I know it's different, but I'm happy so far. I think once he's geared up it'll come together a bit more too as Serpentor.

The only thing I'm still in need of is the skeleton, open mouthed, snake head for his helmet. Otherwise I've got all his other accessories together. Hope to have him finished in a week or so.

The detailing is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to see the FP. Is the helmet going to be in the vain of the original style?

It is. What I'd like, is to have him wearing a snake skull. So it would be bones (thin instead of bulky.) I'm having a bit of a hard time finding what I want though. The other thought would be to upsize my custom helmet . . .

I'm so glad you went with an original take. He is awesome and the shield is inspired.

Nice one John! When I saw the first pic, I wasn't feeling it - looked a little too bulky for my tastes (especially in the arms), but now with the added cape & shield, I'm completely sold. Awesome work
