Oh crap, No... He didn't really, did he?

Oh yes, I sure did.

AIRTIGHT and REDCLAW, I hope you guys are okay with me borrowing these for this:

I love the design, sue me: it fits the image of Outback the nature-loving, outdoor living fanatical Special Forces NCO I have in my head perfectly. The 1987 figure might be iconic and have a cult following, but the modern woodsman 1993 design just works better IMO (except the spelunking helmet which was just weird).

true woodland color palette!

Outback is my third, or fourth, favorite Joe. I certainly didn't expect to see a cool take on "those" Outbacks. lol.
I like the work you put into it, and another plus is that I don't expect Hasbro to try those versions, so this one's a keeper.

Through a helmet on this bad boy and you've knocked it out of the park.

Still, I would have personally like to have scene the neon colors on the 25th stlye.

Me too I'm partial to the Original and the Night Force version, but your s is really good too.

I like the alpha picture a lot.

I think the orignal figure is ok. It works as a version of Outback just like Tundra Ranger Stalker works as a version of that character. If anyone has ever seen one of those outdoor obstacle course and rope slide crouses you've probably seen someone dressed like this. As Outback the solider it doens't quite work as good as the first version. When you consider that this figure was originally slated for the ECO Warriors sub team then the outfit and the colors become excusable and make a lot more sense.

This is complete genius. I never liked that version of Outback, but you've really turned it into a class act.
