http://s209.photobucket.com/albums/bb282/Roxi_T/Badger/ team badgers customs are located in that photobucket account. If you want to take a look feel free. Critiques are always welcome. Also Ash and Lee if you have any other pics you want to add feel free to post them in this thread. and don't forget to read the mini comic! oh and here's our info Bio for Arktis Slange, Cobra Diver. Attachment: dive1.jpg [ 88.93 KiB | Viewed 1793 times ] Formerly a Norwegian Archaeologist, Slange Joined Cobra for a chance to visit some remote locations held by Cobra. His love for diving had him sign up for Eal training. He passed top of his course for diving, but the bottom for aggressiveness. This got him volunteered for Mindbenders latest DNA alteration program and induction into the Hydro Vipers. Slange is the only known survivor of the hydro viper process to make it without any horrible mutations. He is prized by Mindbender as his greatest achievement since Serpentor. Slange is cold and merciless. He is as off putting as any other Hydro viper but he doesn't look like them so it's not as easily noticed. This allowed him to progress through the ranks of Cobra as any other Eal would. He graduated Snow Serpent School, and is Cobras top operative in the Arctic. He prefers to move under the ice as opposed to on top of it. This allows him to get around mutch faster then one in the friggid climate. Slange is not bothered by the cold and can hold his breath for well over an Hour. A standard military issue re breather can last him days. He is out fitted in quick drying clothing but is constantly in a fowl mood due to his boots being soaked through and occasionally frozen. He is proficient in all NATO and Warsaw pact firearms. Parts and Construction Beach head legs 25th torso arms Firefly 25th added a pouch and working sheeth to the lower right leg and a peg with a removable grenade to the left rear of his belt. Head is bbi modded to fit 25th neck added a scar to lower cheek and nose for character. back pack is from one of those new target figures added a strap to hold a clamor and a pinned strap that he can swap his dive gear out with his cold weather gear. re breather, flippers, mask and M-14 are BBi, the side arm and snow shoes are hasbro, the helmet is a custom cast, the grenade and clamore are MJs. The SnakeBat Painted up by team member Lee, with decals provided by badash. The Snake bat is the last ditch attempt of the SNAKE armor design teams to salvage their Jobs. Snake armor combined with bats to make more durable field ready battle robots. Smaller than previous Snake Armor units and more resilient then current BAT models SnakeBats could become a very formidable force on the battlefield. Captain Killface Attachment: 5y.jpg [ 61.19 KiB | Viewed 1189 times ] Lees Cowboy Killface wants to lead to life of a desperado. The only way to do that these days is to join the dreadnoks so that's just what he did. He still needs to make his bones though so he's taken to the arctic to salvage a piece of Cobra tech for his boss Zartan. He has no training in arctic survival, but he is a badass cowboy so he figures it'll all work out for him. Parts, DTC Mutt head with added Mutton Chops and hair Buzzer Chest and legs with a sculpted collar firefly left arm and Buzzer right arm with sculpted sleeve Wild Bill Cowboy Hat, Luke Skywalker Poncho(for the good the bad and the ugly look) CG Colt, and an MJ sawed off Arctic Smasher, Is a repainted Swampfire, customized by Killface to be his ride for this mission. Originally I had added a grill to this restored Swampfire but I figured if hasbro released a pack like this it wouldn't get the new parts so i left them off. and from Ash Alpine Attachment: alpineabove.jpg [ 125.15 KiB | Viewed 1793 times ] Head: Stalker w/SnowJob goggles & Elite Force Spec Ops hat Torso: Cobra Commander w/Snowjob skirt w/ greenstuff collar Arms: SnowJob Left Thigh: Cobra Soldier Right Thigh: Firefly w/ Roadblock pouch Calfs: Snowjob Hands: BBI WW2 Gun: Destro w/ strap grappling hook/rope: 80s Robin Pick: Scalpel back blade Hood: SnowJob webgear: Cobra Soldier w/ BBI chute pouch Grappling Gun: SnowJob rife w/toothpick grappling hook & Night Creeper drone gears Since we decided on an arctic theme, I wanted to keep some resemblance to classic Alpine in this. I stuck with the brown pants, goggles and a ball cap under the hood. When I was plotting out his look, I was almost going to use the Snowjob torso, but opted to use CC's because of the long coat look with the skirt attached to it. I used the SJ boots because they looked thermal and the steel toe look after painted up. I used the minichute pack on his gear for that last oops answer in case his gear fails, he always has that backup plan. I didn't want to over weigh him too much with gear trying to climb with. I really love how this came out. A couple things I learned from this; the skirt/hood vinyl rubber doesn't take well to paint. Try to dye them next time. And the BBI hands could use a bit of modding to close them up as boiling water/bending didn't hold. |

Those are both solid displays of craftsmanship. The pre-paint photos makes it easy to see and appreciate all of the effort that went into these, both in terms of preparation and the actual paint jobs. |

Alpine's grappling gun is a SnowJob rifle, with the rope gears cut down off of the Night Creeper Drone . The hook part is toothpicks angle cut and glued together to the end of the rifle. Rope from spool glued to it.

Since I the judging is pretty much over I thought I would share my judges scoring for you guys. Team Badger Score 10/10 for team work. From hearing them in chat and knowing who made what these guys worked great together and it shows. They lose a point for just throwing Captain Killface in there with no real tie in. [notice I never actually deducted anything] Figure break down 30/30 Arktis Slange (diver) - Good paint, good accessories, and ok parts, 8 Capt. Killface (cowboy) - Good use of parts, Great use of accessories, and solid paint and mod, 8 Arctic Smasher - solid production looking vehicle repaint with custom stickers, +2 bonus points but -1 for using geigh green = +1 Alpine (mountian climber) - Great parts, good mods, great paint, great accessories, bonus point for custom weapon, 10+1 Snake Bat - Bonus figure, even a simple one like this earns bonus points from me. +2 Bios/backstory The bios are ok but nothing special. 7/10 But they get bonus points for a comic tie in, +2. If they would have had more Captian Killface it would have been better. 9/10 Overall score 49/50. |
