This one's for Dave (Bekker). It's just Chap Mei parts bashed onto a MLS Doom, with some soft goods, a bit of sculpting on the boots, and a AoD sword.
Still looking for some material to make his cape.

that's awesome, Marcus! the only critique i would have is that you should paint in, or shadow, the edges of the helmet next to the face -

great job!

Brilliant, brilliant custom.

This one and the recent Warduke custom really prove that the old AD&D line needs a modern 1:18 revival. Hasbro owns the (D&D) characters. Come on, guys!

Thanks dudes!

Dasaffe - I made SH to fight the Warduke I originally made over a year ago (and gave to Bekker).

Jm - Heh. I think I only opened the visor to take these pics! Yeah, I'll have to touch those bits in. I'll do it when I add the cape ;-)

These are 1000 times better than what I had when I was younger. Can you go back in time and maybe help redesign some figures?

Nice Warduke! Seriously, Hasbro, let's see something like this get to the stores.

Video games killed roleplaying games a while ago. Well at least killed them in the main stream. If you could get someone to put these characters in a video game I bet they would come back.

Either way I agree with the need for shadow paint application on the face. It would make it look more like he is wearing a helmet. Beyond that its still further great work from you.

WOW very nice!!! Nice to see that I am not the only person who made a warduke custom. I really have to try myself on a Strongheart custom.

Both of these figures look FANTASTIC!

I second the suggestion for the face paint, and can actually add another suggstion to make this already rockin' custom even better:

Give Strongheart the golden mallet/warhammer thing from his one and only 'toon appearance for extra geek cred! :)

Just plain perfect, Marcus ---

Strongheart was the only D&D fig I had as a kid - I used to have a lot of fun with him (until his leg broke off :( ) You really did the character justice. I need to go grab some Chap Mei knights now...

Thanks again, fellas. I've painted in the areas around the face now. ;-)

Just waiting to see what material I can find for the cape tomorrow. Hoping to find some spandex-y type material, but I don't really wanna buy a pair of new swimming trunks just to get it! :-D
