I revisited my custom comm trooper, scrapping pretty much everything except the head.

Once I saw how it turned out on a recolored Cobra Air Trooper body, I knew I had to make another one.

What do you guys think?

I think they look like they just stepped out of an early issue of the marvel comic. Fantastic bro!

Those are nice, looks like they're ready to start hooking up equipment or something. Simple yet effective use of a trooper too.

Glad these went over well.

The heads were a real bear to make, but worth the effort, I think.

Thanks for checking them out, guys.

I like them, but what's with the doo-rag?

I love the black and red harness on the blue body.

The beauty is in the simplicity. There is a lot of subtle work but they look jus like variations of the regular troopers. Awesome.

Look great! I'm a big fan of the simple but effective and authentic conversion.

Where did the headphones come from?

The headphones (and the dreaded doo rags) came off of a Chap Mei figure, part of the Wild Quest line. I pulled a Hannibal Lecktor and sliced off the top of the dome on both the Chap Mei heads, then on both the Trooper heads, applied glue and painted.

Glad you like the look.
