The next in my new quest to bring aspects of the late 70's and 80's back to life (at least in 3.75 figure form). This is Starbuck from the classic BSG, complete with trademark cigar and all. I hope to get some better pics in the daylight and will update the pics if so. As always, thanks for any feedback. Brad ![]()

Very cool - I had the fig when I was a kid and I was pissed that he came with a cape instead of a jacket - so naturally the fact that your jacket looks great seriously rocks. Great work! |

Most action figures have painted "eyelashes" that sit right on top of the pupils. That would really complete the face. Great figure. How long did it take to sculpt the jacket? |

Awesome, guy! I'm glad to see the old school BSG get some love here! Now all you need is a Viper, and a Landram, and the rest of the crew, maybe a shuttle, some Cylons,Baltar, Lucifer, oh, everything. |

Thanks guys for the feedback. To answer a few questions...the head just kind of fell in place. I bought several cheap SW saga figs off of Amazon just for BSG customs. The Han torture fig had a smashed nose out of the packaging. After tweaking it, I knew it was my Starbuck. Actually the whole body was from Biggs; I just modified it a bit to seem more BSG. As far a continuing the line, hells yeah. I'm waiting on parts I need for my Cylon and Cylon Commander. I think I've finally found a better head for my Apollo. Updates coming in the near future. To tell you how committed I am to this project, I've been talking to JFAK about shrinking the helmet and blaster from a Joyride BSG fig for 3.75. Also I've been gathering pics to try my hand at a 1:18 Colonial Viper (any tips on what to use for materials will be appreciated, not much of a vehicle customizer yet). I hope to keep the line growing; parts permitting and time provided between other customs. Thanks again for all the comments. |

As I said in your Apollo topic, Sahara Dirk Pitt would make a good head for him. For the helmet I wad thinking a (heavily) modified HALO helmet (from G2G). But if you make JFAK shrink a real one, it's best for us all |
