*EDIT* I just found out that SS had no sleeves in the toon so it is now my toon version of SS

Just a simple upper arm, belt and accessory swap on a comic pack SS, but I thought he looked cool and wanted to share. And the best part is, there was no painting involved :D

really nice, I too did a comic pack swap with my stormy because the pure white just looks better to me. However I thought the belt was fused to his waist so my "ultimate" stormy has a blue belt with all black accessories.

How did you take off the belt? Does it involve cracking the torso with that rubber mallet?

it's just glued, and not extremely well, if you start at the back where the belt ends meet and pry one end, the rest is just peeling around the waist. I wouldnt suggest boiling it before you do to soften the glue because pulling the belt may stretch it ant it wont fit back properly.

Hoe do you replace the arms? Do you you have to crack it open or do they pulloff?

yup you have to crack open his torso, but the lower arms just pop out.
The upper arms are from one of the twins from the new comic pack, the rest other than his belt/sash are comic pack SS and his belt/sash and accessories are from the 5 pack SS.

looks great. If I had some twins I would think of doing it too.
100% playable is a major plus forsure.

Perfect. I thought the RAH sculpt comic pack with the bare arms was the best RAH sculpt of the character and now you've done it in 25th style. Great work!

Yep, that is so perfect and obvious it should have been factory-made already. I "tried" to pull this swap off last week, I took off Storm Shadows elbows without any hassle, but then the twin's lower WOULD NOT come off no matter what. I gave up when half my fingernail almost came off. But I intend to pull this off. I initially thought of replacing Storm Shadow's upper arm with V v V Gung-Ho's arm. But when I had a twin in hand (from an Asian Ebay seller, no accessories) I was amazed at the perfection of the arms.

And one more thing, I think the whole hand would make a perfect 25th Gung-Ho replacement. For once, it will prove a good thing they put his wrist articulation that high, as it can replace Tomax/Xamot's glove hand and look normal in length...
