Well, after finally getting a Comic Pack Lady Jaye, I finally got to make the ideal Lady Jaye (in my view at least).

The body is pretty much unmodified from the 2003 Con LJ. I really love the dark green with all the nice camo pattern. I didn't really feel like it needed any fixes.

The Comic Pack Lady Jaye head I slapped on it though, needed fixes. The first thing I did was fix up her eyes. The pupils looked so tiny... it didn't look right. I also decided to repaint her hair a darker shade of brown, since the one she had was pretty bright compared to the original toys, and her cartoon appearance (comic doesn't count since they were often limited in terms of palette)... While I was repainting those, I noticed Hasbro omitted to paint her right eyebrow. So that's another thing I had to add.

Sorry if the pic is kind of dark... I'll try to take a better one tomorrow.

if you read my write-up you'd know the body has been untouched and the only paint applied was on the head...

Jay, nice job fixing up LJ's head. It always bugged me but I never could decide why, but yeah, I guess the eyes were part of the problem. I'll fix mine now.

I need a brand-new head on mine now....

I tried to touch up some spots I missed on the hair and ended up putting some paint on her cheek and the following attempts to clean it off left her with a huge reddish brown spot on the left side of her face which I just CAN'T get rid of... I'd been looking for a CP Lady Jaye for cheap for a year before getting this one and fate screws it up for me... :verymad:

Oooch - sorry man. Have you considered using a really sharp Xacto to shave away the stain? If you cut really slow, you can take off little bits without stress marks.

No... The head's suffered enough already... at this point I'm just going to leave it alone and search for a new one... :-(

The head mods look good, hope you can find another... but until then why not give the head you have some faice paint to match the rest of the torso, beats letting it go to waste.

Moto's suggestion was the first to come to my mind too, you could try painting a camo facepaint design on the head you've already messed up.

Those head mods are quite good, though. I hope you can find another.
