I still need to give him his shoulder armor and pink bandanna around his neck and finish paintinf his arms, but here are a few pix of what I've been up to this weekend. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And here is the finished product, not perfect but none of my customs are ![]() ![]() Comments and suggestions as always are greatly apreciated. **edit** I just noticed that the angle of the pix makes the chest holster look huge and in the way, but it's not that bad looking in person. |

not sure what head it is, it was a cast head I got from someone who shall remain nameless due to the recent issue with casters. |

looks ok...his boots kind of like the kneepad look that his old figure had though. but that's just hasbro. i just realized the only figure with kneepads so far are the cobra trooper sculpts, and i dunno how much of a pain in the ass it is to get that knee joint swapped out looks good, can't wait for the bandana to complete his rock & roll express uniform |

Need to touch up a few bad spots in the paint but otherwise this is the finished product. Not the greatest but I like him |

Before you put stuff on him he looked like a burnt our rock and roll lead singer. Bugger me, to much heroine Zandar? LOL All kidding aside I think you need to delete the gun holster on his chest. I know that the V1 Zandar has a pistol but the look here is just to much. Maybe even consider a smaller pistol. Chap mei has a very small one that would be great. Also I would break down the line on his should armour. It needs to be blended down more. The part were it goes from blue arm to blue armour just doesn't work. You could layer softer rubber straps that surround the arm and then paint or dremel down the armour that you have. Beyond these two points I like your head choice and the legs are looking fantastic. |

Very nice parts choice here. Overall he looks great. A few things I'd look at is his head looks to sit high on his neck, maybe dremel a little more in the head to drop it a bit down some. Clean up his elbow area a little bit from sanding off the armbands. See if you could scoot the chest holster more towards the center a bit. It looks a little off all the way over to his left shoulder. That is all. |

The chest holster looks huge & in the way, but other than that it's pretty good I have to admit, I was a little skeptical how you'd pull it off with the lanky GH torso, but now that you've added the shoulder armor, I'd say you nailed it. So with the GH body & Destro legs, does that make him pretty tall compared to say, Zartan or any of the other figs? Great job! |

I like the whole thing except the roughness on the lower arms. I like to use fine grit nail files on soft plastic you can buff the rough stuff right off. All in all a very cool figure. |

Chief wrote: So with the GH body & Destro legs, does that make him pretty tall compared to say, Zartan or any of the other figs? He was almost head and shoulders taller untill I added the Cobra Comander knees, and will be a little shorter than this pic when I set his head down a little lower on his neck as BadAsh suggested.
