Hey Everyone! Here's my latest 25th figure. I wanted to do him with BBI stuff to make him more realistic. Tell me what you think! Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks great. I like the realism of the figure. What is the base figure you chose? |

Thanks everyone! It started out as a 25th Sgt Stalker... I had to dremel off a lot of his chest and stomach then glue on the body armor and chest rig (also dremeled out) from a BBI figure. I didn't like the head so modded the older comic pack one. I put Duke legs on him b/c he already had good base color boots (and I had a crap-load of them... >_<) with BBI toes (The Duke ones seemed squarish). Then a lot more BBI stuff (gloves, knee-pads, pockets, guns...)! Glad you all liked it! |

Most modern, most realistic, most geared-up Stalker I've ever seen. He looks fantastic! |

The custom is amazing. It looks like some of the stuff I've been working on... so maybe you can help me... Multicam was passed over in favor of the all environment digital scheme the army used for their new ACUs. However, every time they wheel out any new information regarding the Objective Force Warrior (or whatever it's called) project, the guys wearing the new gear are always wearing multicam. Is there a plan to use the multicam uniforms with the OFW gear when that eventually becomes standard issue? |

you know, I think I'd be happy to see the movie take this approach with their costumes. |

I think MultiCam is still off. I know a SF guy who says they use ACU, Desert, Woodland, straight tan and desert digital but beside what you said Wowboy, you'll see Rangers wearing it in training and so on so who knows... I saw MultiCam in Transformers and I liked it. I didn't want 2 different figures, desert and whatever else also - one that would work in both environments (And it's easier to paint for me than ACU! HAHA) Wowboy, I'd be glad to help anytime! Just as long as I don't screw your project up! HAHA Email me at jeffsherwood@juno.com |

I saw MultiCam in Transformers and I liked it. I loved the multicam uniforms in Transformers as well... I thought they looked much better than the ACU's they also briefly wore. I don't know how the gray/grayish-green/tan won out over the multicam. I've seen quite a few pictures demonstrating how well each uniform blends with its surroundings, and in woodland and even desert environments, the multicam blends better. And you aren't kidding when you said ACU is hard to paint. I've done it on three figures, and while the finished product is pleasing to look at, it really is a beeyotch to paint. I've been debating on whether to take a stab at multicam, and I think your custom has encouraged me to do so! |
