Post subject:  25th Style Zarana

Zarana came about from modding a Star Wars Comic Pack Dark Woman figure. I originally had planned to use the Dark woman head for a Lady Jaye custom, but after looking at the hair style and her facial expression I didn't think it fit the Lady Jaye looks so I just set the head aside. After finishing the Monkeywrench custom I thought I would try to do a few other Dreadnok and after looking through my bag of part I found the Modded head in there. The figure is basically a 25th Lady Jaye Torso with Scarlett boots cut off of another figure and glued onto the lower legs of Lady Jaye. The Shirt, Knife sheath and ripped jeans are all molded out of green stuff. So enjoy and please feel free to leave comments or criticism.

Looks good! Great work and choice of head! A real homage to the original. My only suggestions might be to trim down the crotch a bit.

:shifty: OK, I know I posted in this thread yesterday....

Anyway, I'd said that Zarana was never one of my favorite characters but you really did a good job on her. Your mods are good...I'd love to see a better picture of the knife sheath!

Looks damn nice. That head is perfect for Zarana. Now I know what head to swap out when Hasbro produces their questionable version of her :shifty:

Wow! Much better than Hasbro's custom repaint of Lady Jaye! ;-)

That head is perfect. It really makes this custom. I'm like the redder hair color over the original pink bubble gum color too. I wish you would have gone for one of her updated looks. 25th or not that look is a victim of out dated fashion.

That is one sweet rendition of Zarana.

Man, Carn, she's a bute! That DW head truly captures the PO-ed Zarana feel of the character. Just as edgy as the original, sans the melon-headitis! Great job!

she looks great. I like everything about her but her boots just don't look right. I am making a zarana also but I'm taking a different look for her sort of, hopefully will finish her soon though.
A real solid custom you made there, hopefully hasbros will look as good too.
