My very first Sigma 6 custom :D

My local Wal-Mart has Sigma Strike Duke on clearance, so I grabbed a couple to make a pair of Vipers. I kept him close enough to the original Viper color scheme, but painted the boots red instead of black, and the armored parts are actually gun metal. I tried black at first, but he just looked too dull. I used Krylon Fusion on the gauntlets, boots, and helmet (and gun metal on the armor) to keep them durable and to break up some of the matte look. I also put black lines under his eyes, because you know, bad guys are dark like that :D

Whenever my printer gets here, I've got a Testor's label kit to make the Cobra emblem for the circle part on his left side vest buckle.

That's great looking. And the helmet looks as good as the V1 I uspsized for the S6 line.

That's a great custom. Sigma Strike Duke is a smart base figure, since most of the Sigma suit is hidden under layers of armour. I'd buy that Viper en masse.

I wish I had more access to cheap Sigma 6 material, more time to paint, and more shelf space to display them on, because my 8" collection is hurting for Cobra army builders.

Cool...I really like that Viper. Now I know what to do with the SS Duke I've got here. :) That's seriously a why-didn't-I-think-of-that formula!
