Post subject:  25th Night Viper (WIP & Painted)
Here's a 25th Night Viper. Since my storage unit is closed now I can only use the stuff I have in the apt. hence the head/helmet will probably change. Far less equipped than my Alley Viper this guy is built for stealth. Assigned to both infiltration and night guard he carries: a M5 (with laser sight, High powered scope), a silenced pistol (with laser sight), a silenced uzi, 2 knives, 1 frag grenade, 1 smoke grenade, 1 gas grenade, and should the crap really hit the fan he also has a double barreled sawed off shotgun.

(4:30am NYC) Couldn't sleep (I'm an insomniac) so I figured I paint this bad boy and see how it came out. Not bad IMHO. Still think I might switch the head but all in all a cool figure.

File comment: I wanted a pack that was reminiscent of the original so I used this one with the antenna for all his com gear yet it is less super sci-fi.

File comment: I used this head and helmet (with attached goggles) because it's what I have in the apt. I'm not crazy about it yet and may change it. What do you think???

Looking good! Would love a brighter pic to see more details. My only comment might be that the green looks a little aquamarine, at least in some parts.

I used Citadel Paints Dark Angels Green for my Night Viper Officer and Sniper

You might also consider Scaly Green which looks pretty close to the original Night Viper green.

Great representation of the character. Cant wait to see him with the new helmet, although the helmet you used here works just as well as the original.

Very Nice, I agree that green does look a little aquamarine in a few places like the arms but nothing a 2nd coat of paint couldn't fix. I think the color is also a good match, like I said maybe give the torso another good coat of paint. I like the parts selection as well including the helmet. I never was crazy about the original Night Viper head with the long Monocle sticking out front and the helmet and night vision goggles gives him more of an updated look without straying to far from the original. Excellent work!!

Very cool. Great update on one of my fave baddies. Only suggestion is to add some pockets or pouches to the upper arms to bulk them up a bit. Just a thought. Consider this idea...borrowed indefinitely :whistling: !

I realize that but I was too tired to care. I changed his primary weapon anyway.
