I had like a dozen BTR customs planned, and even picked up the parts that I needed. Then I realized that even if I did find the time to put them together, I had no place to display them.

A BTR custom isn't really a custom I suppose. You can take them apart and put them back together in any way you want. There's no skill involved, even a 5 year old wouldn't have any trouble doing this kind of Customizing.

But I love BTR. I hated the execution, but I LOVED the idea. And I'll do my best to keep BTR alive in customs and projects... Whenever I get the space and time to do it.

It's 2 of the BTR boat/glider sets, and a mega blocks boat, though really, it's just some grey pseudo lego added to the BTR sets themselves.

Enjoy, and then go out and do one of your own! ;-)

Very rad. Made me laugh when I saw it because it looks so good.

The best part of this is I cant see it as anything other than a Devilfish.

Kudos.

It has an actual propeller. Cool. Plus this thing and a hydrofoil gives a whole new meaning to "blown to pieces". :D

That's cool. I like the BTR concept because you can really blow stuff up during battles. Plus, like you said, it makes vehicle customizing easy.

That is soooo cute, raptor. I really like that. I never thought of LBCing BTR stuff (and I got about 12 of the Barrel Roll ones).

You realize your next BTR has to be a Rolling Thunder, then a Defiant Crawler, and then a USS Flagg?

The Crusader (though a bit smaller version) was on the books. Again, no space for it. The Flagg was almost on the books, but I missed out on the sale where the Megablocks Aircraft Carrier was down to $40. You need two of that set to do it properly, plus about a year and 8 square feet of space.

My next project, if I ever get around to it, is a HAVOC.

I also might get around to shooting my completed ROADHAMMER full 1:18 Cobra 18 wheeler, though it's currently packed in a box.

Yeah this does look good. I don't see why BTR stuff can't be customs? It goes along with all the rest of the G.I.joe things I'd say. I've got a few that I want to sand the pegs off and do minor work to make them look like regular vehicles.
