hi folks.
a commission custom job again, this time this is no modification.
mrs rateeg's (my wife) doing a COVER GIRL 25th anniv custom figure.

25th anniv baroness is the base figure she used on this one.

modified the face and hair, with sculpted collar, shirt and sleeves, pants details were also added and necklace.
she also sculpted the belt (man ive seen her do this and it's quite detailed), holster and strap.

i helped her out with the painting job and actually settled with the drybrush technique.

so here is her G.I.Joe 25th Anniversary COVER GIRL custom.

Wow, the sculpting is fantastic!

My Cover Girl's complaining now, "All you gave me was a crappy cloth shirt. Look what -she- got!" :)

I'm no fan of 25A--especially the Baroness figure--but WOW, she managed to take arguably one of the worst figures in the line and work magic with it! The detailing just in the paint alone is superb--she captured the look so well in that it sells the figure to me in and of itself, and the additions and detailing she sculpted into it really convert the figure into Cover Girl. Absolutely no complaints from me. :-)

something about the baroness's armor still shows through on CG, makes it look like she has an old lady's support bra on or something. that's just me nitpicking though, it looks pretty good!
