My first 25A custom, so be gentle. ![]() Parts: Body: Duke Head, Hands: Gung-Ho Weapon: Duke Backpack: Gung-Ho (modded) Harness: Stalker (modded) I didn't notice until I previewed this post that his backpack is on crooked, so the straps look crooked, but they're not. |

Not much to say for your first go-around. It says "Leatherneck" to me. Only suggestions is to thin the stache a bit and darken the camo on the legs and arms. I'd be proud to say this was my first attempt 'cause my first one in '95 sucked the big one! |

Heh, thanks, but in all honesty, this was just my first attempt with 25A. I've done RAH in the past, but this was the first time (well, second, I guess) of one of the softer-plastic sculpts. It just felt a bit different to me working on him, but I think maybe that's because of the additional articulation. I'm open for pointers on the camo, also. Originally, it was darker and more distinct, but it looked too painted-on to me. So I made a wash of green slightly darker than the uniform color, but lighter than the camo, and painted him with that to blend it in. That did seem to muddy it a bit too much (except on the pouches I added to his sleeves, they seem ok), but it looks better than the painted-on look. This was my first attempt at camo, so I was just going with trial and error, and would greatly appreciate some tips to reach that happy medium where it's distinctive but doesn't stick out too much. |

I can dig it. You certainly captured the look and feel of the character. Looking forward to other 25th style customs from ya. |

Original won out, but I may have to put together another with those colors, but I have a couple others I'm working on right now that I need to knock out first. |

Wow that's great for the first shot at a 25th, I hope my first 25th comes out that good. _________________________________________________________ "In the universe there is One world, One enemy, One hope, Oneforece!" |
