Ok, I mentioned in the Comic Pack thread that I didn't much care for the new Breaker head - it was just way too big. So I started messing around and came up with this:
I think it makes a pretty good unmasked James McCullen Destro. And since most of the characters in my 'verse go around unmasked anyway, I thought it was a good fit. Then the problem became: what to do for a mask? It was obvious that the pea-head that originally came with Destro was too small, so I started looking around. Eventually I realized that although it looks friggin' huge, the v1 Destro head is actually the perfect size to be a mask for that giant-ass Breaker head. My other alternative was to chrome up a Serpentor head, but that would be too much trouble. (FYI- the Breaker head looks pretty good on Serpy's body as well.) So I just Dremeled out my v1 Destro (the rest of the fig was destroyed years ago) and painted the eyes green and made a melon-headed Destro mask:
So now I have to decide which look is more desirable - the pea-head or the melon-head. I wish I had a good in-between size, but since I'm using the Breaker head I guess I'll just go with ARAH on this one. Any ideas on how to add some more expressive features to the mask so it doesn't look so lame?
So --- anyone got an extra v2 Gold head so I can fix the IG Destro?
