Thaaaaaanks~! Yeah, its been Christmas break, so I've had time to work on my dreams

I also did up a Behelit necklace from the same show, but its really tiny, so it doesn't photograph well. As a studio arts major, I need to take the custom tools with me, but I also don't have a lot of time to work on the stuff that I love.
Yeah, Nova, the Beast figure is pretty crappy the way it comes. The arms are built oddly, the joints at the knees are too tight and the hips too loose, and the ball-jointed neck doesn't work. So the preliminary work to make it into a decent figure was pretty extensive

The back of the head can be shaved down considerably to allow for some great neck movement, and if you carefully peel off the rubber upper torso, the plastic underside can be dremeled and cut to allow for some great arm movement. As for the hips, if you just reduce the width of Beast's crotch, most of the problems are solved. But for a fairly uninteresting character, all that work really isn't worth it

And people say Toybiz was better than Hasbro...
Ooh, for those who aren't familiar, a reference pic:

He's able to grow wings, but because of his scale, I need to make them by scratch. Someday~
