I was extremely pleased when I learned that I had Hulk Hogan as my Secret Santa recipient, because I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I had the idea for an arena entrance ramp for the JCW arena for a while, but never got around to making it. I then had the idea for a JCW wrestler that was actuall NAMED Secret Santa. I had a good time posting a few teaser promos as the SS character at JCW to pique his interest while I finished these up. I also made up a couple of JCW fans/technicians out of some extra parts that I had paying aorund that I knew I'd never use other wise. All in all, I had a blast with this, and I am pretty pleased with the results! :D

Just a left over Killer Whale shell I had been sitting on with a modified Havoc seat and some spot lights and a Lanard motorcycle.

Secret Santa:
Head: Monkeywrench
Torso: Destro v3
Arms: Blizzard (note the replacement thumb - that was an experiment that worked pretty smoothly)
Waist: Blizzard I think
Legs: Big Ben v???

Red Skull
Head: Roadblock v1
Torso: Torch
Arms: Roadblock v2
Waist: Buzzer
Legs: Monkeywrench

Supa Fan
Head: Torch
Torso: Copperhead
Arms: Torch
Waist: Raptor
Legs: Pathfinder

So I'd love to hear what you think. These have already been sent off, so I'm not gonna make any changes, but still... I'd love to have ideas on what I could have done better

Thanks!

That one wins. I fell off my chair when I first saw it.

Actually, that purple collar on Red Skull could have been silver or black. :shifty:

Very cool...It's always good to see what you've been up to with your customs Lance...

I really like the Havoc bridge on the Whale...that's a really neat idea for adding a bit more punch to a Whale... Not sure what you could have done...but I wish you'd have done somthing with the area where the Fan shrouds used to be.

Secret Santa looks pretty good...he fits the bill of a Santa pretty well, and is a good use of otherwise useless parts.

Not sure who if anybody Red Skull and Supa Fan are supposed to represent, but either way they both rock. Red Skull is a great use of hard to use Dreadnok parts...and you changed them enough that they're not immediatley recogonizable as their base figures

I really like the look of Supa Fan...whatever it is about changing the hair color...i really don't see the figure as torch...but a different character...I'll totaly be stealing that Torch/Copperhead head/torso combo

I saw this over in the Secret Santa thread and wanted to see better pictures of the figures. I'm always looking at other parts combos to see if they would work as Dreadnoks, and the Torch head one is so stolen!

I've been working on gathering parts for a 'Santa Dreadnok' for a while now and finally realized a Taurus head on a Destro torso (based on your idea) would work (with the Iceberg v1 lower legs).

I like the two 'escorts' and Santa alot.

My suggestion would have been to tie in the two with a similar paint scheme as Santa himself. Use sculptey to make up a Robin Hood/Elf hat to disguise the Roadblock head and give him a greenish festive flair. The other with the Torch head could have different colored spots (for Christmas lights) or a giant snowflake camo pattern.

Oh yeah, I'm sitting not more than five feet from that spare WHALE I got last summer. I was thinking of doing it up as the 'Florida Everglades Zartan's Swamp Hideout mission' from the early Marvel run or as the 'post Tidal Wave look' from the pre-Cobra Island mission. Glad to see someone did something else with their extra WHALE.

I'd add tiny stockings on the side of the control section though. It would tie in with the Santa look ("...stockings were hung..."), and also look like 'kill' markers too! :D

Great Santa, hehehe!
Say, am I the only one who thinks that the Torch head would be a great Paul Tuetil Sr. (from Orange County Choppers, in American Chopper)?

Thanks for the comments guys. I'd have liked to done more with the back end of the Whale, but I barely finished it in time to send it before Christmas as it was. I'd also have prefered to track down the second Whale cannon but the time wasn't there.

The figures were fun to do. I have to admit, it was a cool feeling finding a use for all those waste-oid parts. Sort of took me back to when I only had like 4 or 5 extra figures and tried to use them all in customs. I swear I've had that Torch head for like 10 years... :D
