The son of a supremely wealthy and influential pharmaceutical executive, Ace lived his early years in complete contentment. Though he rarely saw his father, he was always quick to inform others of his family's accomplishments and importance. However, as the years passed, Ace found himself longing for something more. Growing ever preoccupied with his father's notoriety and fame, he became jealous and hateful. He began to loathe his palatial surroundings and life in his father's shadow. So he began to plot. At first, he tried to manipulate the family estate's retainers into schemes of swindling his father. Finding them incorruptible, he attempted to enlist his personal guard in a daring assassination attempt. Again his ploys failed. Plan after plan was conceived and aborted, until Ace was left only one option. Patricide.
At a gala evening when his father won yet another award for medicinal breakthroughs, Ace lay in wait. He would follow his father's craft from the event to the private area of the business quarter and strike as he alighted.
It was not long into the plans commencement until Ace fully discovered the truth about his father. In the darkness of the business district's off limits sector, Ace would make his move. He shot both his father and his bodyguard in cold blood. The adrenalin turning to euphoria as Ace looked down upon the prone form of his father... He was now one of the wealthiest humans alive!!! His joy was shortlived as his gaze was drawn downwards... his father's body began convulsing violently. Ace stared on in horror as his father stood bolt upright, eyes glowing red and his entire body growing to the size double of a man. His clothes ripped as bio-metal flesh surged and transformed - cruel shaped blades began to jut from his father, and as the metamorphosis became complete, it became obvious to Ace why his father had been aloof his whole life. The tests his father had carried out had been mostly on himself, and he had become a soul chilling spectre of cybernetic death. Ace stammered and instinctively raised the pistol once more, but was met with unbridled rage and ferocity. His father's arms became serrated spikes that thrust immediately at Ace's body. The son looked on in dumbfoundment as his now severed arm hit the ground, and then his eyes focused with horror at the hole in his body. His father spun towards him in a split second, kicking him with such fury that Ace was thrown from the enormous walkway where they stood into the lower levels far, far below.
Unsure of how long had past, Ace surveyed his surroundings. As his head cleared, he recalled the events on his attempted patricide. He jerked downwards to survey the severity of his wounds, but was shocked at what he beheld. His injured section shone like metal, only... organic. He could breath and move freely but the skin was hard. Without realising, his severed arm was now biometal as well, and as he clasped a nearby railing to lift himself up, it was instantaneously ripped from the ground. Ace flashed an evil grin and dissapeared into the night. As time went by, Ace became utterly twisted by hate and revenge. He remained in the lower levels of Leviathan City for some time, killing without motive. His new skin granted him superhuman strength, but also seemed to urge him to commit evil deeds. It was around this time that Ace first encountered the Boy Madness. The death cries of women drew his attention to the darkest alley that night, and as Ace secreted himself behind a billboard, he watched with pleasure as Madness lit up the black street with his unforgiving flamethrower - engulfing women and children in the nightmare inferno. He followed Madness to a warehouse, and it was there that Ace knew they shared a very special connection. Seemingly immune to harm, Ace had begun to throw caution to the wind lately, and he strode boldly into Madness's lair, gazing in admiration at the uniquely evil weapons and instruments of destruction Madness had conceived. Then he saw the rows after rows of strung up bodies.. mostly human, some yet living. Completely fascinated, Ace had overlooked the Boy Madness was even in the building, and the whisper from over his shoulder affirmed that the two would become friends soon afterward. Gesturing to the body with the wide, terror filled eyes, Madness began - "When I'm not tired... and I'm not too busy.... I'm gonna take all his skin off..."
Over the next few weeks, Madness experimented on Ace. Upgrading and adding more and more fiendish contraptions of horror onto him. Ace was now aware of the nanobots his father had unwittingly infected him with, and he swore to use this technology to not only execute his father, but destroy his corporation as well. After passing the Slag's brutal initiation ordeals with ease, Ace has become the gang's "Jack of all trades". Adaptable to any situation, and powerful enough to complete missions alone, Ace would be far more dangerous if it were not for the single minded hatred he has for his father, a vice that gang leader Passion exploits over and over again.
Although he prefers his state of the art sniper rifle, Ace also procures an indestructible Biometal multi-arm, which he can fit with either, blade, drill, saw, flamethrower, mech-whip or his favoured piledriver attachment - all gifts from his demented best friend, the Boy Madness.
