I have had this guy done for a while now, just sitting on my desk yelling at me.
This is a simple conversion using a Gridiron Studios “Telecomm Set” on a Cobra Viper body. I chose the Viper body for the quilted pads on the thighs and vest. I painted purple on the thighs and vest accents to match the Tele-Viper. The absolute centerpiece though is the Marvel Legends “The Hood” screaming head. That was the part that brought it all together. I’m mostly a fan of neutral expressions but this one was too good not to use here.
The reason this isn’t a straight up Tele-Viper is that about a month after I finished it Hasbro revealed they are making one of their own. Hence the name and bio.
Bio: Viper Comms Officers begin as regular frontline Tele-Vipers who then undergo Viper training. After serving (surviving) six months of active duty as a Viper they go on to intensive communications and counter-intelligence training. The active duty under fire experience makes the comm officer better prepared for their position as the sole link between command and their team while in the field.
