These customs are absolutely gorgeous. I love the Remco Bad Guys, and your interpretation/update is a sight for sore eyes. As 2Dark2C said, those images could easily be actual catalog images from the early '80s. The uniform color palette really works for these guys: they're distinct because of the parts and weapons, but they look like they belong together. And they give me a welcome dose of nostalgia for a time when the shelves were overflowing with 3 3/4" options. Beautiful work! |

Thanks, guys! Very much appreciated. Making the "ad" was a lot of fun, and I'm trying to figure out a way to have more fun with that approach for the upcoming "bonus" Bad Guys figures. In addition to the "standard 8", there were also a handful of other figures that Remco released. This includes several static figures and at least one unnamed articulated figure. So I'm going to start on those very soon, keeping with the every-other-custom rate to have them done by the end of the year. |
