Starbuck
Battlestar Galactica pilot

Head: FSS Tomax cast
Upper torso: 25th Serpentor
Arms, lower torso, waist and legs BFS tan elf character kit
Skirt: RoC Zartan modified
Hands: Marauder Inc
Holster: RoC Storm Shadow
Cape: custom
Pistol: lightsaber tip, Battle Droid rifle barrel, 25th Armor Cobra Commander grip

I originally made Starbuck, not to be confused with Starbuck who got Starbucked in the reboot, as background filler for the Robo-tender/dealer set. Just a head swap on a bfs body and a cape (because I’ve been trying to get better at making capes). Between messing around the figure during the photoshoot and drbindy telling me it was a solid build for the character, I decided to make it an actual custom. First thing, get that ribbed bib on the upper torso. Sure, I could have sculpted it or Hey, look! Serpentor! So I cracked the Serpentor lower torso and cut the internal peg down until it fit the BFS lower body.

Then the hair part is more like Tomax’s than Xamot’s and I wanted to look more dirty blonde than brown. The holster, repainting the things I thought were black but are actually dark brown, and adding the design details around the collar and wham bam daggit it is done.

The best part is that as soon as I find a collarless coat that fits over those giant traps and chest, the BFS arms will allow for easy swapping to his flight jacket.

Looks like a custom Cylon using the old Tri Gate Customs cast (same one I used on all of mine) and an "Iron Man 2" Hammer Drone (airforce version).

Nailed it, with Gundam hands for the added wrist articulation.

The look is spot-on (right down to the smirk).

Not sure if it's your camera angle, but his lower torso might be a little squat?
