all still wips. i'm thinking they are small working class droids for some yet unknown chapter in my fantasy space/alien lab verse. i'm really out of my depth on what they all do. i built them literally from the ground up starting with the wheel units from small trains i took apart for the cargo boxes. i saved the wheels not knowing what they would be good for. it hit me that they might be good robot bases. i was inspired by specs awesome found item/repurposed tech pieces!
Image

the 4 yellow droids were inspired by minions. the main bodies are rims off a small scale monster truck mounted to the train wheel unit and topped with a metal dome from a magnetic building set. i want to add some kind of arm or tool to give them some function other than just rolling around. maybe some maintenance or emergency functions?
Image

the two "supervisor?" droids are star wars drone/droids? on top of a white rim with a screw diver "handle tip?" spacer. they look like they could direct and control the other droids.

the biggest droid i'm thinking is some kind of cleaning machine. it has a hotwheel size cement mixer drum main body with a white rim and large yellow cog. on top is a black wheel and metal dome. the companion droid is also some kind of cleaner with a metal dome/blk wheel combo over a white rim and blk mini desk lamp shade. it has 2 yellow bottom pieces. one type of prop or spinner, but i don't have an idea for it;s function.

the most unique droid is the security unit. too small for actual security/protection/enforcement i see it more of a traffic cop/hall monitor ,but i'm open to ideas. it is a transformer light bar, on a chap mei antenna base mounted on a different type small train wheel unit. this is the only complete unit i have with metal wheels and a black base. i like the loook of this build the most.
Image

when swapping parts and trying out ideas i also came up with a few small dio pieces i like. these were heavily inspired by specs awesome work, and a direct copy of his pop bottle cap cargo containers. this is my 2nd go at these and i love the white caps from generic ginger ale.
Image

next a couple of gate marker/alarm? units made from air freshener push buttons, lite brite pegs, hotwheel? bridge supports, and tape dispenser cog bases.
Image

finally these two units. the taller is small nuke generator made from a sony playmation figures jet engine on an unknown base. i don't have a function for the smaller piece which is an unknown tech bit mounted to a pop bottle cap.

thanks for looking! i look forward to your help and ideas of just what i have going here!!
